Spanish Barcelona's captain Carles Puyol said on Wednesday he would be so happy to play in Kuwait as an opportunity for the club to communicate with its Kuwaiti fans.
Barcelona and Kuwaiti Kazma will play a friendly game on December 21 to mark the latter's 45th anniversary.
In a phone conversation by the media committee of the game, Puyol said his team members were well aware that football had become a significant tool for people-to-people communications.
He added that they perform in friendly games just as they do in their official matches, showing keenness on promoting a modern football playing style.
The Spanish footballer also vowed that they would play a great game in Kuwait in order to live up to their fans' expectations. - Kuna
